We are a Costa Rican car rental company that has been serving customers since 2008. Throughout my career, I have worked in customer service and operations management for several car rental companies.

Over the years, I witnessed practices that I believed were unfair to customers. It was frustrating to see travelers charged excessive amounts for minor vehicle damage or to tell customers—who had booked their vehicles months in advance—that no cars were available because of overbooking. In many cases, companies intentionally accepted far more reservations than they could fulfill, giving priority to longer and more profitable rentals while canceling shorter reservations.

If customers were fortunate, they were referred to another rental company that still had vehicles available during periods of high demand, but often at significantly higher prices. They had no choice but to pay those inflated rates or risk having their vacation disrupted. Unfortunately, these practices are common among some of the largest car rental companies.

That experience inspired us to build a different kind of business—one that puts honesty, fairness, and customer satisfaction first.
